National Parents’ Council Annual Conference

The National Parents’ Council Annual Education Conference 2019 ‘Tomorrow’s World: Parents supporting Children’s futures’ will take place on June 8th.  All parents of primary school children are welcome to attend.  Please see the flyer below for more details:

National Parents Council Regional Assembly

will take place on Saturday the 25th of May in the Springhill Court Hotel, Kilkenny for:

  1.  An information session on: ‘Bullying – what can you as a parent do to support your child?’
  2. A consultation session to hear ‘What NPC can do to support you and ensure your voice is heard’

At the assembly, you will meet our CEO, Áine Lynch, Services Manager, Liz O’Sullivan and Louise Rickard, our Helpline Officer who will be available on the day to address any queries you might have regarding your child’s education.

ADMISSION & LUNCH ARE FREE!

PFA Confirmation Celebration

The members of the PFA recently hosted a wonderful reception for our Confirmation pupils, teachers and family members. It took place in our beautifully decorated Halla and guests were provided with an amazing array of treats and refreshments. Many thanks to the ever-generous members of the PFA for sharing their time and talents in our school.

PFA Summer Gathering

Margaret O Driscoll,  Maura Daly, Louise Wills, Susan Murphy and Noreen Healy enjoying the PFA summer night out in The Tradehouse Central on 28th June 2017. Between them they have served 62 years as either officers or members of the PFA . Well done ladies !!

 

PFA Volunteers on Communion Day

Scoil Barra’s First Holy Communion Day was on May the 20th. The volunteers of the PFA organised a lovely party for the pupils and their families and friends on Satruday the 20th of May. Many thanks to the PFA for all of their help and support!
